Nux Vom 200c
Nux vomica or poisonous nut has a tradition of use for symptoms related to over-indulgence, overwork, sedentary habits, night watching, shift work, travel, and at times when the body clock is upset. It is a great liver remedy helping to drain and purge the liver from toxins making it the ultimate “hangover’ remedy. So if you have a big night out with the gang it is great to take a dose before sleep and upon waking but also for just any conditions from an excesses of food, alcohol, coffee, drugs (including anesthetics and pain killers) or mental stimulation where you feel hung over after.
i have also used it a lot for baby constipation especially when moving to formula or solids - and despite what the doctors are saying these days newborns and babies should be pooping multiply times a day, if they are not try this remedy!!
