Oscillococcinum or Anas barbiris is a nosode traditionally used for the symptomatic relief of the early stages of cold and flu. It is used prophylactically to help prevent colds and flu symptoms and if given at the very beginning of a acute illness, when you are just feeling like you “hit a wall” or just feeling a bit 'off colour' it can some times stop a cold from developing.
