Chronic Fatigue

Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) is a member of the herpes virus family (herpes virus 4). It has been linked to Chronic Fatigue and I find people suffering Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia, usually have a history of EBV.

If they haven’t had this confirmed, in the history will usually be recurring tonsillitis.  In childhood EBV can present in this way so it’s often overlooked as children usually don’t show  signs of fatigue, just the tonsillitis. Adolescents and young adults are the ones to commonly  acquire this and feel the symptoms of fatigue. Herpes viruses remain in your system and can  cause many many other health issues. EBV is linked to many other more serious diseases due to  its ability to attach itself to white blood cells, impacting their ability to fight infection. This is why  this virus impacts on people’s lives so much and Chronic Fatigue is certainly one of the causes  but other viruses such as Ross River is also suspected to be a cause. This I am certainly seeing  in clinic. It has been found there is also a strong link to autoimmune diseases as EBV turns on a  gene to create the disease. The good news is that if you can turn a gene on, you can certainly  turn it off. That is what I am discovering.

Autoimmune disease associated with EBV include:

• Systemic lupus erythematosus

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Multiple sclerosis

• Inflammatory bowel disease

• Type 1 diabetes

• Juvenile idiopathic arthritis

• Celiac disease

THE GOOD NEWS

Over the last few years I have been studying with a Dutch homeopath (who works with an  oncologist and other medical professionals), to learn about in depth ways of helping the body to  clear out toxins and effects of medications along with viruses such as Glandular Fever or Ross  River Fever that can remain in the body causing many different illnesses. This is best done along  with a long consult to work out your constitutional remedies to help bring your body back into  balance. Constitutional remedies are ones that suit you as a whole person. If this isn’t  incorporated into the clearing, it’s like only half doing the healing. I have often found all that is  needed is constitutional remedies, however when illnesses are lingering then other remedies can  be utilised to help clear out the effects of whatever it is that is lingering in your body still. Usually  this takes eight weeks, usually only one remedy daily depending on your symptoms and you  usually feel better within a matter of weeks.

Spring is a lovely time to heal your body so I would love to help you on your journey.

One happy woman.

“Suffering chronic fatigue for over 10 years due to a history of Glandular Fever, has limited my  capacity to live fully in work and all areas of my life. I’ve tried every alternative health option and  as an organic health food store owner I had access to so many alternative practitioners, all who  were very helpful, and supplements but found everything I tried only felt like a band aid and didn’t  last. 5 weeks into this clearing, I finally feel restored better than I ever imagined possible.” AL  Mornington Peninsula.
